Ioulia Shukan is a French sociologist, full professor at the School for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS, Paris), researcher at the Center of East-European, Russian, Caucasian and Cental-Asian studies (CERCEC). She is also a member of the organisational commitee of the annual research seminar in Ukrainian studies Danyliw Seminar (University of Ottawa, Canada)
