Project: re/visions
As an INDEX fellow, Natalie Nougayrède colaunched a new bilingual (Ukrainian/English) online journal of ideas and culture called "re/visions". Rooted in Ukraine and reaching out to the rest of Europe and beyond, this is a monthly publication, distributed by newsletter. It will also grow into a platform for debates and events. Its goal is to connect Ukrainian voices with wider European and global discussions, exploring how ideas, creativity, and responsibility can inspire change. Themes such as justice, solidarity, memory, citizenship, healing, and postwar futures are central, while contributions come from writers, artists, scholars, and journalists in Ukraine and elsewhere.
The journal is being developed in partnership with INDEX, the Lviv Centre for Urban History, and other academic and cultural institutions in Europe. At its heart lies the belief that Ukraine offers a unique plurality of voices and experiences that deserve to be part of a vivid international conversation.
